There is a philosophy which says that the deepest satisfaction is actually in the wanting of something rather than the having. I have a feeling that this type of thinking is just meant to comfort (or, at least, pacify) those of us who can't get what we want. However, I must admit, there is a sort of magic in the longing itself. And, during lockdown and this continued pandemic, there has been a LOT of unfulfilled longing...more so than usual. >.<
